Well, it's my first hair straightener, and it works well. It heats up fast, which is good if you're on the run. It got my hair pretty darn straight, though the only flaw is that then ends of your hair my look a bit "fluffy," as Sandra said. If you're looking for one of the cheaper straighteners that gets the job done, I recommend this hands-down.

This straightener works really well on thin-medium hair and is very durable. It heats up really quickly and is easy to clean. The only problems are that it leaves your ends looking fluffy while the rest of your hair is pinstraight, and the cord is short.
