How to defeat dry winter hair, here a few simple tips can keep your hair in line and prevent the damaging effects of winter.
Trim your hair more often: Instead of your normal haircut every 8 weeks, get it trimmed one week to two weeks earlier. As dryness starts from the ends of your hair, getting a haircut more often in the winter means healthier hair from the root to the tips. Use a deep-conditioning mask: Just like you treat your face to a weekly deep pore facial, this time of year your hair needs just as much attention. Using a leave-in hair conditioner helps to rebuild and fortify your damaged hair to leave it shinier and healthier. Don’t over-dry your hair: If your cut makes you fry your hair every day, try washing your hair only every day and a half, or second day. This will retain your hair’s natural oils and prevent breakage. Drink lots of fluids: While drinking water is important all year round, winter is especially a time to keep your liter of water beside you at all times. Drinking more water not only makes your skin healthier but also makes your hair shine!
