I have had two rusk irons, each lasted 2 years. both are for personal use, so they are not used for long periods of time. I loved my 1st iron, my second didn't get as hot as the first. I think I will be purchasing a rusk iron anytime in the near future.

I spent a lot of money on this straightener and I can honestly say I like my cheaper one much better. Its hard to see the temperature on the knob and it doesnt open up wide enough.

I have had mine for over 4 years and it still works well. Of course it has some wear and tear but that is from 4 years of usage.

First one lasted one year then quit heating up. Second one lasted 3 months and the same thing happened. I am sending back to rusk since it is under warranty. Anxious to see if they stand by their product. When it was working it straightened with only fair results. Hair gets caught on edges from time to time. Surface doesn't feel smooth on hair.
