| My friend recommended her favorite Revlon hair straightener to me as I burned my hair with my damn Conair. She said her Revlon always does great job for her, and has worked for more than two years. I think that may probably meet my need, but where can I buy this hair straightener? People help~~ | |

| I had my straightener for about three years now, and it recently broke. Does anyone know where they sell them at cause they don't have them at Walmart anymore. I have 3 other straighteners that are more expensive but won't use them cause they don't do the job. I have really curly, thick hair and this is the only one I use. | |

| Its a good straightener and I would recommend it for those of you who use one everyday like I do. sometimes your hair gets stuck in between the gold plate and the white plastic but it isn't too bad. | |

| this was my first straightner i got when i was about 12. it always worked so well with me. my hair isn't overly curly or anything, its just wavy. i used to love this straightner. i would always heat up so fast and everything. it never gave me a burnt smell to my hair and it was never frizzy. i go to school for cosmetology and out of all the cheap straightners i baught this worked very well. now i have a ion conditioning ceramic straightner and that works the best but it was 100 dollars. if you want to buy a cheap good straightner i would go with this one but if you want a really good one, i'd go with the ion. it goes up to 450 and its really good for your hair. also never forget to used a heat protecter and someoil free glosser. | |

Okay, no. At one time EVERYONE had this straightener. I had one for less than a year. Whenever I heated it up it would make this weird rhythmic noise, and then stink up the whole house with the smell of burning plastic. It made my hair smell burnt even my friends commented on it. I know some people who still have them and everyone's seems to be broken in half at the hinge! It pulled my hair out, and it's not about "taking care of the straightener" it's about having sharp edges in the first place.
It smells. It melts. It made weird noises. It broke in half. It's heavy and the plates make my wrist tired. D- | |

| This is the best striatner on the market, hands down!!! I'm not 21 and I have had thsi style strainer since I was 15.I keep buying it because it works so well. I have thick, curly hair. After I use it my hair is pin strait!! They key is to do it in small sections and slowly. For the other reviews that said their hair gets stuck in between the white palstic and the gold plates, it's becuase they didn't take care of it like they should and it started to come apart, and then, yes, it will snag your hair. but just making sure it doesn't fall and being gentle with it will solve that. Also, I saw people write that is was heavy and the plates were too big. Well, for thsoe of us that have alot of thick hair, THE BIGGER THE BETTER!!! It makes it go by faster. I hate those little ones!! it takes HOURS when theya re so small. This is the best straitner EVER!!! | |
Love it..

Pretty Good

| This straightener lasted me 4 years! I got a ghd after it died and the difference in quality is very noticeable. However, for the price it definitely gets the job done. What I like about it is how hot it gets, you can adjust the temperature, how durable it is, how fast it heats, and the price. What I don't like is sometimes while using it I would accidentally turn the switch off and have to wait for it to reheat, the size is big and bulky, it sometimes pulls hair out, and my biggest complaint is that it left my hair full of static. I would say if you can afford to get a ceramic iron do it, because they really are better. If not, this straightener lasts a long time and does a good job straightening hair especially if you've never had a ceramic straightener to compare it to. | |
