This product was possibly one of the worst investments I have ever made. I have thick, wavy hair and even on the highest setting, this straightener refused to do its job. While it succeeded in getting some frizz out, my hair would not lie straight and had multiple kinks in it.
If you are willing to make the investment, buy a Chi. If you want to buy on the cheaper side, go for Conair. But DO NOT BUY REVLON.

Gray Hair!

Ok... i've had the Revlon straightener for over 3 years... during those 3 years, my classmates noticed that i have two gray hair! when school was over, i went home, up into my room and straightened my hair w/ the Revlon Straightener, then I noticed that one of the strands of my hair turned gray :( so if i were you, I wouldn't use Revlon's straighteners... no lie here.

the first one I bought did not work. I had to bring it back to the store b/c it wouldn't even turn on (light would flash then fade out). The second one that I got caught fire this morning! Turned it on, left the room for 30 seconds cames back to find the entire things melting and smoking. Entire upstairs smells horrible!

DO NOT BUY THIS STRIGHTEER! the white version is the older version but works a million times better! my hair has never looked worse with this straightener.. i am currently using my friends stragihtener she bought 3 years ago in place of it

I bought this product over a year ago. in the morning when I wake up my hair is a mess! this straightened my hair perfectly in 10-15 minutes. I now use all of revlon's products(that I need) and my hair has never looked better.

i got this straightener about a year ago. at first it worked good, and my hair turned out flatter than it was with my old straightener. then i realized the mess that it really was. my hair was soft, but it was horribly frizzy in some spots and didn't straighten as well as i thought. if i could return this, i would. and i would write a letter to revlon telling them how horrible their products really are.

when i first got this straighner i loved it but now it suckesss!!!! my hair only stays straight 4 like three or four hours aand then my ends curl up it horrible

I've had this straightener for a little over a year and it still straightens my curly thick hair in under 20 minutes. I use products too to help my hair straighten and stay tame. The plates have begun to get burn marks on them, but for the amount of money I spent on it, I think it's a good buy. Over the summer it kept my hair straight and the only time my hair would start to curl would be when my hair got wet... like it would if I used any other straightener.

This iron is terrible! Within 2 hours of straightening my hair it's not completely straight anymore! I also feel like I have to go over each section of hair at least 3 times just to get it straight and then it doesn't even stay! Awful, horrible, I am saving up my money to purchase either a GHD, CHI or Sedu!

This straightener is horrible. It doesn't work at all, it make your hair fizzy. Don't waste your money, buy one that is part quality that will actually work.

Revlon RV062 Exploded While Using It

This iron exploded in my hand while I was using it. It burned my wrist, sparks flew out from everywhere, and scared the living out of me. I've reported it to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. I hope the faulty iron I have is a fluke, but FYI to anyone using it. Ironically, I was fortunate that it blew up in front of me and that I had not walked away from it while it was heating up.

I have the same problem as the first person who wrote a review! It pulls out my hair and doesn't even straighten it! I hateeee this product and would definitley recomend Sedu! My sedu is amazingggg :D

when i first bought this product about 8 months ago, i loved it . it was my first straightener and i thought it would be my last. although, after a few months went by, the plates were starting to burn and get messed up . and before i knew it, it didnt even straighten properly anymore. it doesnt protect your hair against humidity either. all in all, i would not reccomend this product to somone who wants a good straightener that keeps your hair good against humidity .

i love it...it is great...my hair is so thick and wavy and it gets my hair done! It stays straight though out the day! my hair does not get frizzy ..not even in the winter(you know how your hair gets statacy) i get a lot of compliments..BUY IT...you will love it :]

I really like this straightener! It's an inexpensive alternative to the more expensive brands like Sedu and Chi. It works very well. This is a good quality straightener for the money! :)

I bought it and liked it at first. it does do everything it is described to do but after a while it makes your hair frizzy straight. and i do deep condition my hair to make sure it doesnt dry out but this product still drys my ends out.

This is straightner is worth the buy.
Makes my, extremely thick & hard to straighten hair easy to fix in under 10 minutes and none frizzy.
I highly consider this buy.
I have no clue what the buyer underneath is saying but, trust me. You WILL love this.

This straightener is SO BAD! It makes your hair smell terrible, look terrible, and it gets your hair frizzier than it was when you started. The plates on mine are mis-aligned and they pull out my hair in my sad attempts at straightening it. DON'T BUY THIS! I'm going to go buy a Solia.
