Got the iron as a christmas gift. The first three times I used it, my hair was beautiful. After pluging in oneday, temp shot up to 410 by itself. Turned off and on then did not turn on again. Is this helpful? Yes or No

Honestly, I loved the product. However, there were some problems. The first one we had malfunctioned after a few weeks of use. So then Customer Service replaced it. Again, after a few months of use, it overheated, and burned my brother's hair.... VERY DANGEROUS! This product is not worth the money you paid for.It didn't even last for 9 months! Don't waste your time and money on this product! :( Is this helpful? Yes or No

My mother bought the flat iron and it would not make any difference on her hair so she tried it on mine...WORKED WONDERS. My hair was soft, silky, flat, and beautiful! My mother gave me the flat iron, after weeks of GORGEOUS hair and the fact that i didnt have to do may hair as much now, one day i placed it on the counter of my sink and the flat iron snapped at the middle. I couldnt use it anymore..HOW AWFUL!! Well, cheap material, but great on my hair. I have tried the INSTYLER and it works nicely, but nowhere as GREAT as the flat iron...WISH IT DIDNT BREAK! The worst product EVER! As I read the reviews, i got even more mad. I have the same problem as everyone else. After 6 months it doesn't event turn on anymore. I probably used it total of 10 times. I have tried to call their non 800 number a few times and there is no way to reach anyone there. I am taking this case to the Better Business Bureau so they can stop this TV scamp. Is this helpful? well unfortunetly when i read these reviews it just made me sad. Thats because i had a kyoseki and i loved it. It also only worked great for 5 months and then the temp kept switching up and down until it finally never turned on again.... I was actually trying to get another one but theire out of stock it says I guess I know why now.....Don't make the purchase!!! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I purchased the KStyler in april 08 and i have NEVER had one problem with it. I have had shoulder length to mid-length thick hair in this time and it works awesome for me! I heat it up all the way and i have used it every single day since i got it. No problems here and i have had it for 10 MONTHS! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I bought the KStyler and purchased the additional 2 year warranty. After 3 monthe the on/off button broke. I called the company and they told me they were sending a replacement. Six weeks later I still had not received it. I called again and they told me they are no longer making the KStyler and I could not get a refund. A manager would not speak to me. I paid over 150.00 so far for a product that does not work. They even charged me shipping for the replacement KStyler they never shipped! I fully intend to pursue this further to get my refund. I saw the info commercial and I have really thick and wavy hair, so I thought awesome. I purchased it and used it five times and the product shut off and would not turn back on and so I called customer service and they were very rude and I got scammed. Even though it was within my free trial period, I had been charged and could not get my money back. DO NOT BUY this product. Is this helpful? Yes or No

K-Styler has horrible customer service! My styler stopped working within three months after purchasing it and when I returned it (with a check for S&H) I didn't hear or receive anything for a month. So, I started calling to check on the status of my K-Styler and was told time and time again to call back in a week. Finally, they told me that the K-Styler I returned must have been lost in the mail and to send another check and they would send me a replacement styler. Two months after returning the original styler with a check (and after sending another check), I checked my bank account only to discover that the first check had just been cashed. I called customer service once again and they were kind enough to tell me that they will return to me the second check I sent. But...it would still take another 2-3 weeks to send because the styler is on backorder. In short, the customer service is horrible and it should not take three months (at the minimum) to receive a replacement. Like others said, the temperature on my styler kept changing before it completely stopped working, even when it was already heated up and sitting still. On the plus side, the K-Styler works great when it is working! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I got mine for Christmas, and I love the versatility! I have thin, slightly wavy long hair, and it's great for body. I love flipping my layers out or playing with some funky textures. I hope I don't have any of the same problems. Is this helpful? Yes or No

Just like everyone else mine died on me. It seemed it overheated and then just shut off. Thank God it didn't destroy my hair like it has so many other people (awful!) I got the label to ship it back and am now awaiting reimbursement. It is very disappointing! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I bought this product in October 08, 2 wks later the silver coating paint on top started fading off. I had called and asked for a replacement. After 1/2 hour arguing with there customer service i decided i wasnt getting anywhere i kept the thing. Now it is January 09 and my straightner doesnt work anymore. It doesnt heat up or anything. After calling today, systems are down and i noticed in my bank account my last paymnt was taken out. I am pissed!! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I bought this last year. Worked great for a couple of months and then, just out of the blew, it overheated (I didn't realize this) and it burned off my bangs!!! I called the company and complained. They offered a replacement -- I didn't want it. I just wanted a refund. They said that they would do so only if I paid to return it to them and then, they would process the refund. That was over 2 months ago. NOW, I get an email saying that they's sent me ANOTHER styler and have charged me ANOTHER $120!!! I'm just going to scream!! Who are these people?!! Just don't buy this horrible product! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I bought the k-styler 9 months ago & had to have it replaced. Now less than 2 months later my replacement iron went out. Now, they tell me I am just s.o.l. basically. so I am now out of $120.00 & have no flat iron. I would not recommend this product to anyone!!!! Is this helpful? Yes or No

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT!!! IM A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL 4RM SOUTH CAROLINA AND DURING THE SUMMER I WAS UP LATE WATCHIN TV AND I SAW THE COMMERCIAL FOR THE 3 IN 1 STYLER AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! I BEGGED MY MOM FOR WEEKS AND SHE FINALLY GOT IF FOR ME. IT TOOK 4EVER FOR IT TO ARRIVE BUT WHEN IT DID AND I USED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME IT WAS AMAZING!!! BUT AFTER ABOUT 3 WEEKS IT BLEW OUT AND THE LIGHT WOULDNT COME BACK ON! I WAS SOOO PISSED AND IT WAS THE DAY B4 WE TOOK CHEERLEADING PICTURE DAY AT SCHOOL! JUS MY LUCK! SO MY MOM SENT IT BAC AND WE GOT ANOTHER ONE LIKE 2 MONTHS LATER! AND IN ANOTHER 3 WEEKS IT HAPPENS AGAIN SO IM LIKE DONE WITH IT! MY MOM GOT MAD AT ME FOR MAKING ME WASTE HER MONEY! Don't buy. I bought this iron not even two months ago and it is already broken. Granted they give you 60 days from the DATE of Purchase to send back for an exchange or refund. For me, that's $120 down the drain. Is this helpful? Yes or No
