| This thing only worked for one month. When it failed, I contacted the company on January 26th regarding an exchange--I had also purchased the four year extended warranty. They told me that they would mail me a return label so that I could send it back to them for free. It has been over one month (33 days to be exact) and I still haven't received the mailing label. I have repeatedly called them about the mailing label and they just keep putting me off. Terrible service so far. I now just want my money back. | |

| After seeing the commerial I wanted one BAD, and it worked GREAT in the beginning..then it started fry n' my hair really bad, even when I used heat protection...then after about 1/2 months it just stopped working, I was so pissed! I wouldn't advise any1 to buy this product unless ur willing to keep getting a new one every month! | |

| This is a horriable iron. And after a month it quit working. I wasn't even done paying for the iron. I called and they sent the label and I paid insurance to make sure they got it. Well, that was 4months ago and I'm still trying to get a replacement. NEVER AGAIN!!!! The one I bought at Walmart for $20 has worked better and lasted longer than this rip off!!! I'm glad some people have enjoyed it...but most of us have regretted this purchase. | |

| I have seen a hell of alot of bad reviews compared to good about this lame product from other websites including this one and I also had the same problems. For those who say their product hasn't had any problems "YET", good on ya OR I wouldn't speak too soon, it might just happen to you. I guess most people aren't as lucky as some. Any way I just about got sucked into buying this 'Restform Airbed' and luckily I read the bad reviews first and I'm bloody happy I did. I just wished I had done the same with this one | |

| I received this as a gift back in August 2008 and I loved it! Until, it snapped at the end and broke. They returned it no problems and paid for shipping. Today is February 2009 and it just stopped working. This is one of the best flat irons I have ever used and love that the temp goes over 400 for fast straightening. I can't believe I'm about to get a 3rd iron in less than one year! If you buy it be advised of the problems you may face! Have a back up! | |

| I saw the Kiyoseki advertised on tv and thought great product cause I have really curly frizzy hair have tried it 3 times and already the button is very difficult to press on im thinking that im still in the trial period of sending it back not to mention the $19.95 introduction and then $243.00 australian after 30 days after reading all your reviews about all these problems im definately not paying that fornominal price and sending it back. | |

| My mother had bought this a while back and asked me to try it. It was the GREASTEST in the world!!! My hair is very course and dull and looks and feels like african american hair. My daughter is mixed and she has very long hair ( to her butt) I have tried everything on her hair and nother would work. Would always have to use lost of oil products and braids NO MORE!!!!! Even with her ethnic background her hair is smooth silky and beautiful and stays that way for days. The worst that happens is when she wakes up in the morning I MIGHT have to use it for a maybe 2 min. to touch up from where she slept on it and left a crease. I dont know what happend to the rest of these people but ours is used daily for a house of 4 girls and we couldnt be happier w/ no problems. Also when it is raining my hair still stays great. used to if it looked like it might rain my hair would frizz like crazy NOT ANY MORE!!! My oldest daughter has very thin and fine hair. REMEMBER w/ thin hair to use low temp!! This is great for everyone. On my oldest daughters hair she used to have stringy oily hair now in the mornings touch it up and it still looks good when she get home not as stringy. I LOVE THIS. IT IS THE BEST FOR ALL HAIR TYPES AS YOU CAN SEE!!!! WE HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM!!! | |

| well as i read all the reviews i actually feel stupid for not reading the reviews sooner, i bought mine a while ago now, but as all the other reviews mine broke, i plugged it in and it snapped and the temp screen went blank and the temp went sky high, i didnt try to send mine back for i was going out of the country the day it did this, and now i was looking for a new one and read all this i feel angry and taken advantage of, for spending 160.00 on this, and i hope people place action against this company, they need to realize what they have done...and pay for it | |

| Worked properly for only a month. After a month it wouldn't stay on for longer than 1 to 2 minutes, then wouldn't turn on at all. I sent the K-Styler back at my own expense with $19.99 money order. I NEVER GOT A REPLACEMENT AND I HAD PURCHASED THE 4 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY - TOTAL $170.36 (plus the cost of shipping the broken product back and $19.99 for their return shipping). I'm easily into this over $200.00. When I spoke to customer service they said my order had been cancelled because my warranty had expired??? I included my original receipt with the broken product that documented my 4 yr warrantee I had purchased. THEY CANCELLED MY REPLACEMENT AND THEY KEPT MY MONEY!!! Now they are apologizing but will give me no guarantees for when I MIGHT receive a replacement. I requested speaking to a supervisor. THEY HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME!! If you are going to spend the money, buy a CHI. My hairdresser has had one for four years without a problem. I wouldn't even consider the K-Styler a 2nd rate product. It's the worst purchase I have ever made. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| Wow I was able to use the craposeki about three times. It died on the fourth. Luckily I own a Chi which is a fine product. I will not even try for a replacement as it is too much hassle. Do not I repeat Do not purchase a Kyoseki. | |

| Every website that I have visited say different things about this straightener....I saw these reviews when i had just purchased it and I was scared all these things would happen to my hair.. But this is the best straightener that i've tried and it works great...8 months now and it works like new. wat people dont understand is not all straighteners will be the same, everyones hair is different some is thinner than others so it can burn, or the hair is already damaged to begin with. | |

| This hair flat iron worked great at first and still works for me..BUT the silver coating started to fade..and now everytime i use it, the temperature would shot up to 400 degrees without me touching it! it almost burned off my hair! and i have asian hair so you have imagine what it does to my hair. | I got it in the begining or mid July 08. It quit working in a month. They paid for the shipping both ways, to get the replacement. Now in Feb, the new one quit working agian. I called customer service I have to pay for the shipping for the broken one to get sent back, then I have to pay $19.99 shipping for the new one to be sent to me. This is the worst warranty having to pay for shipping for a broken item then pay shipping again to get it replaced. | |

| I bought this straightener July, 2008 it worked great at first but it wasn't long before the paint on the straightener started wearing away around the plates so the stuff was obviously going in my hair. And just last week, it melted my hair on the side of my head and now it doesn't even turn on. I have long hair about 6 inches below my shoulder and in that one spot I have an inch of hair left. As if pulling out over ten inches of hair from one spot wasn't traumatizing enough it was the night before my college's formal dance. I was doing my hair the night before because I had a track meet the next day so I wouldn't have had time after it to get my hair done for that night. I wasn't going to get a replacement but my mom said I needed to be reimbursed somehow so now they're "supposedly" going to send me a replacement. I probably won't use it except until I can get a new one (I've been looking at the Sedu and the Solia which have been getting good reviews). | |

| I've had my Kiyoseki for nearly a year and have loved it...That is until it went haywire yesterday and MELTED a 2 inch section of my hair off!!!!!!! Thought it had to be something in my hair that caused this, so I pulled an extension (yes, real human hair) out of the drawer, melted that within seconds! BEWARE! Do not buy!!! | |
