dont buy these straightners they died on me after the 2nd use and when i did use them for the 2 times it gave me dry hair the tips of my hair are damaged now i have to get a refund long and lenthy process i would even cover them in toilet paper and wipe my ****with them they are a cheap asian piece of crap(no offence china):) im just really unhappy i paid alot for them and now they are broken i should have invested in a ghd please dont buy them they aint worth it! I bought the kyoseki in January 2009. When i got it I was so excited I used it everyday curled my hair, waved, and straightened it. At first I noticed the discoloration happening on the product the silver was rubbing off and turning white. Then this month March i was straightened like normal and what do you know all of a sudden I heard a sizzling sound and my straightener turned off. So not only is my straightener broken it fried my hair in the process! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IT SUCKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I want one..well wanted one..thanks to you. But after reading I'm still unsure, I must see for myself. Im wondering what heat level you had it on...SERIOUSLY. Anything on high heat will burn your hair off..be more specific PLEASE. Was it on very low heat and all of a sudden did it go crazy and burned your hair off on low it. did it switch to high and burned it off. Im CURIOUS on how you used it. It probably has something to do with the texture of your hair. Maybe you have damaged hair. Any product that says "heat protection" is false. Heat period damages the hair. You probably straighten your hair everday when you're not suppose to -you're damaging it. For the product to not have worked is more reasonable to me. I believe it burned your hair and I'm sorry for you but it is a reason. Plus non of you spoke about in the process of reporting them or suing them. It's just.."I'm getting ready to"...why haven't you. Is this helpful? Yes or No

I purchased the styler on 19 January 2009 and originally the product was the best ever. My hair was straighter than ever with less effort because the styler worked so well. Today, 17 March 2009 I began to use the styler as usual before going to work. After five minutes of using the styler it overheated and my hair began to burn and smoke. My hair literally fell off in the spot where I was using it at the time. The word "error" appeared on the dial and the styler will not turn-on again. I thought the overheating was my mistake until I read these reviews. I am glad the hair that was fryed happend to be a sew-in instead of my real hair. Now I just want my money back, and plan to get it since I am just under 60 days. Is this helpful? Yes or No

I wish there were this many reviews when I bought my Kiyseki, because I never would have got one. I got it almost a year ago, and when it came in the off button did not work, but I had been so long without a good straightner, I did not say anything. And now it wont turn on and I didn't even use it everyday. Is this helpful? Yes or No

Once i recieved my product i opened the package. The plastic inside was melted and the colouration of the silver and pink styler had discolouration. To my interest it seemed the styler had been used by someone else and passed on to me. My 30 days hasnt expired yet. I love the styler as i have thick and curly hair. I have read alot of bad camments its making me wonder weather to buy this product or not?? Is this helpful? Yes or No

Bought this as a gift ,woked pooly from start and contacted Kiyoseki for refund or repair but was told it was passed 60 days and oh well ! For the price this thing and the company sticks . Is this helpful? Yes or No

So I bought the kiyoseki styler, and about 2 months after i finished paying for it and getting the 2 yr warrenty, it freaking burnt my hair off! I DO NOT RECOMEND IT FOR ANYONE! And even after ordering the replacement 2 months later i still DO NOT have the other one. Besides the fact that I called and the man ANTHONY had a very crapy atitude said that I can't get my money back because its been passed the 60 days! PLEASE REPORT THESE PEOPLE TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BEAURO SO MAYB WE CAN SEE SOME OF OUR MONEYS BACK! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I got the Kiyoseki about a year ago, although it hasn't broken yet, I noticed the paint wearing off and the grey turning a strange white color. I've seen so many reviews that say it has burned hair off after having it for 5 months, and this makes me really worried to even use it anymore, what if it decides to go crazy on me and burn my hair off, too? I would NOT suggest buying this hair straightener, it is a complete WASTE of money. Piece of ****, if you ask me. You'd be better off with a wal-mart brand hair straightener. Is this helpful? This prouduct is a bunch of crap... After watchin the commercial with my boyfriend i insisted he buy it for me...I got the straightner and not even a month later it just turned off on me while i was using it..i returned it n got a new one (which took long as s*** to get)and not even a week after gettin it the straightner broke...this product is no good...get a CHI... This thing only worked for one month. When it failed, I contacted the company on January 26th regarding an exchange--I had also purchased the four year extended warranty. They told me that they would mail me a return label so that I could send it back to them for free. It has been over one month (33 days to be exact) and I still haven't received the mailing label. I have repeatedly called them about the mailing label and they just keep putting me off. Terrible service so far. I now just want my money back. Is this helpful? Yes or No

After seeing the commerial I wanted one BAD, and it worked GREAT in the beginning..then it started fry n' my hair really bad, even when I used heat protection...then after about 1/2 months it just stopped working, I was so pissed! I wouldn't advise any1 to buy this product unless ur willing to keep getting a new one every month! Is this helpful? Yes or No

This is a horriable iron. And after a month it quit working. I wasn't even done paying for the iron. I called and they sent the label and I paid insurance to make sure they got it. Well, that was 4months ago and I'm still trying to get a replacement. NEVER AGAIN!!!! The one I bought at Walmart for $20 has worked better and lasted longer than this rip off!!! I'm glad some people have enjoyed it...but most of us have regretted this purchase. Is this helpful? Yes or No
