Okay, im reading all these poor reviews. The reason it breaks is probably because you all dropped it or were rough with the package. My KIYOSEKI is amazing by all terms, my hair is unruly and frizzy and it does just fine. I have dropped it once and it still works fine, if you keep it clean then this is a great straightener for all hair types, my hair breaks easy and so far the kiyoseki is great with it. I have had mine for almost a year. and i wont use anything else. Is this helpful? Yes or No

I received my flat iron and used it for about 1 week. I really liked it then the following days when using it everyone seem to ask me if i had gotten my hair cut, which i did not. After the first 6 people ask, I noticed myself that my hair was breaking off and the ends looked burnt. I set the temp down lower to almost the lowest setting. Now 2 weeks later it wont turn on at all! I have paid the first payment and when i called the customer care for a replacement or refund they told me they would email me the shipping label. They did not. they told me they would mail me a label but it would take 10 to 15 days for it to arrive, they would walk it to me in that time.I had to send it back and they also told me that if i decided to send it back for a refund they they would continue to take payments out of my checking account until it was paid in full then refund my money!!! NOT IF I STOP PAYMENT THEY WONT!!! I personally would not waist my time on this product. I only wish i had read the reviews before i bought this Is this helpful? Yes or No

I ordered from the website page, then found a SPECIAL OFFER in the download (hairstyling)--the special offer had FREE upgrade to pro, FREE shipping, FREE upgrade to priority shipping-- a whopping discount compared to what I already paid. I called to ask about the difference in price- after a bit of discussion they said they will give me the discount when I receive the product. I did order the insurance too; hope it turns out OK- my daughter really needs this to work! Is this helpful? Yes or No

Just like everyone said... I used it about 5 times and it simply stopped working! It won't turn on. I bought 2 of them so I could give one of them to my daughter for her birthday in September and now I'm scared that one will quit working too. Is this helpful? Yes or No

This Product is incredible! I have the Pro version ( silver ) and I have never in my 46 years used a product that has managed my hair and keep it absolutely healthy looking as this one has. I called Customer Service for more Crystal fuse mist and conditioner and had no problems. The order was placed and it was not expensive. 8 oz Bottles for both the mist and conditioner came to 14.95 + 3.95 for shipping.. NOT A BAD DEAL! I spoke to customer service about the failure reports that I had read online ( the 5 useage and stop working issue's) I was adviced most of that is from people not knowing how to reset the styler, as well as it being the basic styler and not the Pro version. I have had nothing but positive experience with this company and awesome results! GO KSTYLER.. you have my vote!! :) Is this helpful? Yes or No

I had this product for a good 2 month before it died on me one day. I paid my styler in full,I still haven't received word from customer service on whether I'm getting a refund or a replace for this product. This whole ordeal has given me a headache,now I'm forced to use my porcelain flat iron that hasn't failed me fully yet.:/ Is this helpful? Yes or No

I just watched the infomercial & was psyched to buy this for my adult daughter. The TV ad says you can keep all the styling products even if you decide to return the styler but the website states "If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Kiyoseki Styler, simply return your entire product within 60 days, including any and all accessories, directly to us at the address listed below. Following the receipt of a properly returned complete product, we will refund the full purchase price, less shipping and handling. Please include proof of purchase and your mailing address." So that is why I question the ethics of this company, to say one thing on their TV ad but to actually put the total opposite in the "fine print" on their website! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I received my Kiyoseki a little over a week ago and absolutely loved the way my hair looked and felt. My husband noticed also, but like some of the others, mine wouldn't turn on after about 5 uses. There is a number on their website. I spoke to someone and they were really friendly. They will be sending me a return postage paid label and will resend me a new one starting my 30 day free trial over again. I wouldn't give up on it just because it stopped - that's why we have a free trial. Have them send you another - especially if you really liked how it made your hair feel and look. Is this helpful? This works better than any other straightener! The problem is in trying to contact the company to try to get replacement Crystal Fuse product. I was told they don't have any in stock. This is a problem since the Kiyoseki works best with the Crystal Fuse. Can't keep customers happy if they don't sell their styling products too!? Is this helpful? Yes or No

I thought about it a couple weeks and finally gave in and ordered it. I was so pleased the first time I used it. I straightened my hair and my daughters--we were in love with it! I've had it a week and the fifth time I tried to use it, it wouldn't turn on!!! Completely dead like another user said! There is no phone number to call them at. The 60 day money back guarantee says return it with the enitire product and accessories you received. Thing is I used the sprays they came with so now what? For warranty repairs I have send the thing back with a check for $19.99?!?! I just bought the darn thing! There should be a phone number to call and simply return it and they send you a new one. DON'T ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!! I am calling my credit card company and telling them to reverse the charge since Kiyoseki promised to provide me with a product and its obviously defective. Am Afro-American who has soft hair that will only hold a press for less than one day.It would frizzy because of humid or sweat. I been saying this for over forty years. Four weeks ago I order the Kiyoseki Kit. WOW! It really works.For the first time in my life my hair stayed straight until I washed it. I shampoo,condition then removed exceed water with a towel. I sprayed Crystal Fuse (leave in) and used a comb blower to dry my hair. Then I used the Kiyoseki Styler. Is this helpful? Yes or No

i really love the way this straightens my hair however i have only used it 4 times and i went to use it today and it just shut off and now it wont turn back on. i only had half of my hair done and none of my other straighteners work like this so half of my hair look great and the other half look frizzy and horrible!
