This product works great but the reason so many silly people think he just dies is because they DON'T know how to turn it on. When I first used I too though it didn't work, you have to hold it down until the light comes on, sometimes it takes a minute. This is the best straightener I have ever used and I highly recommend it to people who can READ DIRECTIONS. Is this helpful? Yes or No

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Boy do they know how to sell this product well, but turns out that this is one of the worst styling products that I have ever owned. The only remotely convenient thing about this styler is the fact that it heats up in a matter of seconds. I would NEVER recommend this product to anyone! Apparently when you call to return the styler, they offer you $59 credit to your credit card, just to persuade you to keep it, but even at $60 the styler is still not worth it.....I sent it back! idk...my bestie told me she thiught i shouldnt get it cuz the reveiws r all so bad. which is true.even though i dont own it or tried it i would reccomend to listen to all the reveiws and not buy this product!!! but thats just me...so you do you and ill do me!! but really just dont buy this stupid straightener!!! I got this product about 2 months ago. Thought it was amazing. All of my friends LOVED it. Made my hair very silky. Very lightweight. I had the exact same problem where I went to use it one day and the tempurature display had disappeared completely and then it wouldnt even turn on. Of course this happened the day before my 60 day warranty was up! I was not impressed. So excellent straightner while it works but clearly it stops working for a lot of people so I would say DO NOT BUY. Is this helpful? Yes or No

From the site it only says is goes to 410 degrees. The reason that thing burns out so quickly is because it is made for voltage overseas. The kyoseki can't handle the high voltage of the states. Unless you have a transformer to convert it, which is a bit of a hassle. Is this helpful? Yes or No

Well no doubt the sedu is the best hair iron on the plant. NOT Kiyoseki. I have the sedu, but my baby is getting restless. ); I'm looking at the kiyoseki since it comes higher than 410 degrees much like the sedu, and its smaller which is better for me. But if your looking for the best straightener on the market Sedu is the way to go. Is this helpful? Yes or No

HELP!!i have thick, frizzy, dry, wavy hair and i thought that this kiyoseki hair straughtner would suit me the best. but im not sure if i shold buy this.. i mean this is my first hair straightner and my mom said she'll buy me but i dont want to waste my money buying this if it only lasts for a month.. what do u guys recomd me to buy( hopefully something not too expensive).. thanxx :) Is this helpful? i was excited to buy this kiyoseki for my 20th birthday and well i fially got and when i used it, it was the worst piece of sht, and no i did not drop it or anything. it doesnt even straighten right, my hair looked all puffy and fcked up. i even tried to curl my hair with it and it would just go straight. i regret even buying this. its not even worth the price. im so upset that now i have to deal with their customer service to refund me my money back. oh yeah and the buttons are real sensitive that when ur trying to style ur hair the temp either goes all the way up or down..its very frustrating..save urself the trouble and dont ever buy this kiyo-crappy iron!!! This is truly the BEST flat iron on the market! Just don't be surprised when out of the blue if won't power on anymore. I did get a return authorization in a timely manner. Hope I get a new one without any defects. I love this iron!!!!! Is this helpful? Yes or No

I also had the same problem as many who have posted with the flat iron dying after about a month. I spoke with someone about getting a refund and mailed it back with a delivery confirmation receipt about 2 weeks ago. I just checked on-line and it was received a week ago, but since my 2 month warranty is expiring on August 4, I want to make sure they are processing it. Love, love love it until it died! yep just wont turn on!! Called customer service was told i was gona get a shipping label, it never came. Called back, 4 weeks later and was told that i would get a refund and i could keep the broken product. That was 3 weeks ago and i STILL havent got my refund! I called back today and spoke with the MOST rude customer service rep Alyisa who tells me i should get my refund ASAP...we'll see....basically i think i've spent over $100 in long distance calls to get my $100 refund!
