MINE BROKE TOO!!!! HELP!!!!

I paid 150.00 for my straightner and i was also told there was a life time warrenty. the hotplate is cracked and catches in my hair, how am i supposed to get someone to replace my straightener?

I got mine a year and a half ago for Christmas. It straightens well, I dont find that it fried my hair at all. About 6 months ago, the spring broke and the straightener doesnt stay open anymore. Its a real pain in the butt. The same thing just happened to my friend's straightener. I also got mine from a kiosk at the mall, and the company switched a year ago so I too could not return mine. It worked great for the year, but for $90 it should have lasted longer.

I got my straightner for this past Christmas. The Ceramic piece is super loose and is going to break away from my straightner soon and I NEED HELP finding someone who knows what to do. I kept my box and receipt just like the people at the kiosk told me to do but now they have left the Mall and DO NOT have a Website. Help what do I do? I about to have a $100 straightner with a "lifetime guarantee" with NO where to fix it or send it.... NOthing.... What the.....This is NUTS!!

All I can say is this thing rocks! I've had the Chi, FHI and GHD but this iron really straightens the hair on the first pass. I used to have to go back over the hair 2-3 times when using my Chi. What a deal for $105.00

i love my cortex! been using it for 6 monthes now! paid $100 and was well worth it! i've never had a device that straightens, waves or curls my hair, all in one (just takes practice) i can even straighten it without damage unlike the chi!

I bought this straightener because I was having a TERRIBLE time with my hair. I have very curly hair, and nothing else would work. I would go through $100 of hair products in about a month because nothing would work. This straightener has done wonders for my hair! It stays straight for about two days, and what's really nice is when it starts wearing off it goes into this very pretty curls. It has damaged my hair but let me ask you, what straightener won't?? My hair still stays soft and nice to the touch, and it looks great. For everyone else complaining about these straighteners, perhaps the problem is you aren't using the correct one? There are certain temperatures you should use depending on your hair type. For very curly and thick hair, you must use a hot one. For wavy/slightly curly and thin hair, don't waste your money buying a REALLY hot iron because you don't need it! You'll ruin your hair. And if you dye your hair, I guarentee that no straightener is going to help, They'll make your hair even worse. It really doesn't matter what one.
But all in all, these straighteners work great!

well i bought this straightener and it works very very well. its keeps my hair straight for the whole day unless it gets humid (which sucks, cause my hair gets all frizzy and wavy) it works very well for me, but when i plug it in it always turns it self off and on when i move it or something. its hard to explain. and right now , when i tired to straighten my hair i saw 3 sparks from where the swivel cord is. i probably damaged it in a way that made it do that, but i recommend this to people with wavy hair. i payed 126 dollars at a little store in the hallways of the fairoaksmall.

I got this straightener for my birthday and I've always wanted one. I heard it's supposed to work very good because it can straighten and curl. So I tried it for the first time and curled my hair...yeah it worked really good! But the next day I washed my hair out you could feel parts of my hair got burnt and there's so much breakage!!! It really sucks! My hair feels nappy and crispy that I can barely comb my hair anymore because so much of it falls out. My hair feels brittle and now I don't know what the fck to do! It's sooo bad I just want to chop my hair up like a boy cut! Don't buy that ish unless you want to fck up your hair! Especially if you color your hair a lot!

I bought mine from marshalls for 39.99 ..everyone is paying 150+ for theres which is way to much...its not that great doesn't straighten that well my old one was better and i have really curly hair so i know my straightners

I paid 150.00 for my straightner and i was told there was a life time warrenty ,and mine broke the hot plate cracked and no one will help me im trying to get it replaced but the store i bought it from is gone and ithere is no contact info on the web site SO WTF!!!
