| Firstly, I wanna thank my friend Rice who recommended this hair straightener to me. Well, this straightener is the one which is able to give very shiny result, and the straight hair really lasts very long. it's absolutely a good straightener to have. | |
I still love my Original CHI hair straightener

| I left my CHI original hair straightener in my sister's house in Boston when I called on her this May. I have bought a Turbo instead when I got home. The Turbo hair straightener works not bad, but I really miss my Original CHI, it used to create very attractive sheeny hair for me. I would get it back the next time I visit my sister. | |

| okay well to all of you guys who said that you loved it, i bet you have only had it for a few weeks. i have had mine for less than six months and it broke already. poor making of the original chi. if you're really going to buy a chi, i would suggest the chi ULTRA. but please dont get a chi, get a GHI. | |
As good as HAI

| I have used a HAI straightener before I purchased this CHI straightener a month ago. Actually, HAI had a very good performance during its 2-year working for me; I still remember my frizzy hair at that moment ahead of my purchase of HAI straightener. But it was really unfortunate to see it just stop working last month, it stopped getting hot after 2 years’ service. So I had to buy a new one instead, this CHI works as perfectly as my previous HAI, and I really hope it has longer lifespan than the last HAI. | |

| According to my original CHI flat iron's outstanding performance, I'm willing to recommend it to those who wanna get the super straight hair with shine on it. It really does a good job. | |

| i tried one of theses at the mall and it was sOoOo good! it made my hair really shiney and it straightened it quickly. But before i had a hair straightener that was from tj maxx and i think they are equally good and that one was a lot cheaper. it was like $20. | |

| i've had my CHI ((original black one)) for a little over two years now and have loved it! It's starting to get a lil messed up now, but ive had it for a long time and use it practically every day so to me its really great! i asked my hair stylist what a good straightner for my hair would be and she recomemnded the CHI because thats what they use in the salon. i highly recomend it!!!! | Chi is my second hair straingtener I just purchased two weeks ago, my daughter had taken the first GHD straightener to her college. Chi is better than GHD, personally. I mean not only leave my hair shiny, but also smoothness, hair is much silky than before, it could maintains even temperature to make it unable to burn my hair, really a good straightener on the market, should be highly recommended. | |

| My mom has the heart iron and it has lasted her almost 3 years. For Christmas my husband bought me one of the black ones. During the first month I went through 3 of them. The light never would work and would not heat. Finally I got one that worked. I use mine about once every 2 months. I was out of town for a wedding and was running late because my iron would not work, I was having to hold the cord in order for it to work. | |
Its not the best

| Persanolly i thought this straightner was the greatest thing in the world until a month after the year warranty it broke and it wasnt anything my older sister and i had done what happend was the cord in the swivel cord detached and the straightner would not work anymore and we tried everything to fix it cause it was a nice chi... So if you buy this just try and make sure the swivel cord dosent "swivel" as much and you should be fine but if you dont want to do that move on to another straightner | |
Waiting to get a better iron!

| The temp was way to hot for my hair and burned bits of my hair, even with heat protectant and anti humidity serum. I only flat-iron my hair 3X's per month and after a wash and deep condition so my hair is in very good condition. It does seal the cuticle like it claims and gives my hair a smooth appearance. Although, it does not repel humidity at all. I have very curl afro-american hair. I blow dry my hair first and then straighten, even with all that my hair curls back up within 12hrs. Again, this is with a protectant and serum on my hair. It takes me a while to straighten my hair because its so long and thick and it never shuts off so thats a plus. A few times I've noticed litte water bubbles on the plates, I don't know if thats suppose to happen or not, which doesnt matter because it began to rust my iron although the plates are ceramic. saving up the money to get a better iron. | |

| i just recently bought the pink chi and i LOVE ITT. it works great. i have naturally wavy, kinda curly hair and the chi gets it perfectly straight. I would always get so frustrated straightening my hair on rainy or humid days because as soon as id step out the door you wouldnt even know i straighteneed my hair it would just get curly again but with my chi my hair stays straight the whole day rain or shine! i love it i deffinatly recomend this straightener. | |
