This treatment is amazing. Had it done a year ago and then just had it done again yesterday. My hair is SO much more manageable. Silky and shiny too!

I've had my hair straightened this way for the past 2 years. Its amazing. I only need to get it done once a year and it is soft and beautiful. My dad is Samoan and I had curly and unmanagable hair previously. It was pretty tough but not REALLY afroie. I have shoulder length hair and it cost $500 and took around 5 hours. It was worth every cent and I would do it again at a heart beat. I have moved from Australia to New Zealand and now only have the issue of tracking down someone who does it over here. Even after 9 months (got it done in November when I was 6 months pregnent!!) it still looks great. Soooo much better than other hair straightening, which I've had done. DO IT ... REALLY ....

I have very thick hair that doesn't know if it just wants to be straight or curly so it decided to be poofy. does it cost more for me to do this procedure because it's thicker? How much does it usually cost? Is this better than the Japanese Straightening?

Hi! Can black people be treated with bio ionic hair straightening. How soft? Why can't black people get treated with japanese straightening hair for 15-25, like relaxer? What is difference between bio straightening hair therapy and japanese straighten hair? I have gone to natural hair since novemeber. My hair is really short. How much it cost for bio with short hair?
Thank you

Hello, I have seen one lady around here who has done the process, her hair is fantastic and definetly sold as well. As an African who is anti-relaxers I believe Bio Ionic is the way and this will give my hair a break. She tell me that she only retouches her growth once a year- that was bliss to my ears.
Will this treatment be OK for kids as I have a 7 year old with beautiful but very unmanageable hair? What is the maintance regime like- products etc

Please can you tell me where ALL the hairdresser are that do Bio, I only know of one in Corlett Drive called Tanaz, but my last hair straighting sessions went horriably wrong and it took months to sort out, I have been using bio since 2004, and never had a problem since then, only my last session in March this year that did not work. The hair dresser that I have been going to since 2004, does not do it any more, they have switched to Opti Smooth, This does not work as well as Bio, They say it is because my hair is bleached blond and the Opt smooth does not take to product very well.
Please let me know.
many Thanks
Jacqui Simons
