- Maxi glide Design allows you to achieve flips and curvy styles as well as straight styles. The patented Steam Burst System provides just the right amount of steam where you need it, working to smooth even the most frizzy, wavy hair.
- Detangling pins feature smooth, rounded ends that don't harm sensitive cuticles like bristles can. You can completely detangle the hair to the very ends.
- Ceramic technology creates negative ions and distributes heat quickly to create a shiny, silky, smooth finish while helping to revitalize hair.
- Wide plates (nearly 4") provide more room for a section of hair, allowing for quicker styling time.
- Variable heat control allows you to choose the temperature. On-off switch is strategically placed so the unit is turned on only when you want, and not by accident.
- Design features curved edges and corners, so you can see exactly where the iron is on your hair relative to your scalp. Protective styling channels help protect scalp and skin from high temperatures.
- BONUS flat plate is included for quick touch-ups.

This product is great.
But when it is humid outside, my hair begins to get frizzy. It really annoys me. Other than that, it works, in less time. It saves a whole good chunk of time.

| I have had my Maxiglide for 3 years and it works great. Its been extremely durable and nothing has failed. Even after the several times I've dropped it, tossed it under the cabinet, or watched it fall from the counter top to the floor. It still works like it came out of the box. I live in hot humid Texas and I never have to touch up. Love it and recomend it to keep your hair healthy from the moisture steam. Diffinately will buy one again when the time arises. | |
FANTABULOUS!!!

| I have extremely curly, thick and frizzy hair and I absolutely love this product! I straighten my hair in a lot less time than I used to when I tried to get my hair straight. It has the detangling nubs so that I don't have to blow dry my hair straight first! I just put in an aloe vera straightening serum (that I bought at Walgreens), brush out a section and pull it straight! My hair is soft and does not get dried out like it does with other hair straighteners. People cannot believe that I can get my hair straight! I think it works best on hair that is thick, curly and kinky because it actually has a thick head of hair to pull out straight with the detangling nubs! I take good care of it so it has lasted me over a year so far! I highly recommend this product to anyone who thinks that their hair will never be straight!! | |
Never Again

| Never again will I buy from the television, before looking up the product. I spent 134 dollars for the entire package, The first day I got it, I was so excited to try it. It didnt work, at all. The pins snagged my hair, even when it was fully brushed. my hands were getting tired too because the thing is so heavy. The hair product you get is very sticky too. I would have to say my one from walmart works a lot better!! I am waiting for the cash 30 day refund... | |

| THis was a terrible product. The pins snag the hair, even when it's been pre-combed with no tangles. The steam burnt my hands becasue it was very awkard to hold and also very heavy. My daughters hair stayed wavy, not straight, for only a 1/2 hour before it started to poof up. It never got her hjair straight. The products were terrible!! THe hair seruim was a waste. I tried it on my hair too which is thin and wavy. I couldn't even get that to straighten out without frizz and waves. Sent mine back after 3 weeks for refund. | |

I've never tried this straightener, but I have heard GREAT things about it. One of my friends told me her hair stayed straight, and had no friz, or wave, even after she went out in the rain, after using this straightener! Her hair is full of curls. If it works that good on her, It'd work that good on me!
I can't wait to try it. | |

| I am used to a CHI hot iron and thought it was the best thing until I tried this. Not only does it straighten my ethnic hair in large amounts, it keeps it looking great for a day or two without touchup, even in the damp or humid weather. I absolutly love this iron and would recommend it to everyone. | |

I have pretty straight hair and just bought the iron to make it even more straight and smooth, it is crap. If it doesnt work on my hair which has never been color treated and is very healthy I don't think it can work for any one I spent 90$ on it and it sux!
Hope no one else makes the same mistake.
Another infomercial mirage

| I bought the Maxiglide two years ago and it hasn't failed to perform any more poorly today than it did two years ago, despite several reviews that read that this product dwindles after a lot of use. The problem is that it doesn't straighten my hair as well as I wish it would. I have wavy, long, and frizzy hair and only after I wait more than 2 weeks to straighten my hair and the weather is dry does my hair straighten *perfectly*. If you're impatient or in a hurry, you'd probably find the time it takes to heat up, constantly having to refill the water gauge, and it's general ability to straighten to be burdensome. I also find it too bulky to give my hair any "flips" or "curly" styles but that's probably because my hair is too thick. Obviously, it works for some people and does work for me sometimes, so it's not that bad. It's just not worth more than $50, in my opinion. | |
It works just the way it did on tv !!!!

| I was impressed the first time I used it, I was pleased that it worked just the way it did on the infomercial. I'm a black woman who has soft, curly/wavy/kinky combo hair which is not always easy to keep frizz-free; especially since I live in SC. I've had my since 05 and it still works very well. If yours is falling apart, I believe u can return it and get a new one w/in a 5yr time period. If it's not working for u at all or makings ur hair dry, there may be some other issues goin on with ur hair. Anyways it's the best flat iron i've ever had. | |
AWESOME for my delicate hair!

| my hair is ULTRA FRAGILE! it's thin and curly, damaged from color & bleach! this iron is the only one that I can use! I do use a little of the hair protector from Sally beauty(it's orange).. real cheap! I take real good care of it. i always empty the water reservoir and wipe it down. i don't leave it on forever! I tested to see what the best temp. setting was for my hair, going only as high as needed. I store it in a plastic container once cool. All this has kept it in excellent condition for 3 YEARS!!! I even straighten my friends' hair! She has dark, thick, kinky latin hair. That is recovering from Kemo Radiation. It's even more delicate than mine. Works amazing!!! Def. a must try! | |
