This iron is an answered prayer. I have long, curly, frizzy hair, that used to take me over an hour to blow dry straight. Not to mention the ton of products I had to put in it so it would stay that way. I was very skeptical about this product, but based on the reviews I read at Folica.com I dicided to give it a try. Boy!!! I'm I glad I did. I wash my hair and let it air dry, or I will put it in a braid and let it dry that way. At night when I come home (or the next morning) I will let my hair down, which by now has dried into a frizzy curly mess, and I can make it pin straight in very little time. Ever since I got this iron a month ago, I get all kinds of compliments about how beautiful my hair looks. Not to mention the shine; it is incredible.
Don't think about it anymore. They got a money back guarantee. You have nothing to loose except for those frizzie curls. You will thank me later!!!

I have a Conair hair straightener that is traditional one and works ok. But it only straightens my curly hair temporarily. Sedu is amazing. This product straightens my hair in less than 10 minutes with perfect result and without frizz. I would recommend it to everyone.

This hair straightener is the best our store has ever used! I even use it on myself and recommend it to everyone! The only bad thing about it is the price. It is a bit too high.(according to my proffesional skills) It should be priced at let's say 145$. But you know that would only mean other stores would buy them too so i'm not sure whether i want you to lower the price. Hmmmmmmm.

I have never heard of Bion before, it makes me wondered why it cost so much? In a second I thought maybe I should give it a shot. It arrived couple days later and It totally worth its value and every single penny you spent. It heats up in secs, no more wait, fuzzy and damage! Not to talk about how fancy it look, it will also make your hair look fancy - Smooth, silky, stright and beautiful! Just simple 10 mins, it look like just got your hair done at a professional salon! It also has a unbelievable weight helps to iron easilier!

Pros: Gets hot fast. Ceramic surface makes a HUGE difference. Hair is smooth and silky. Cons: A bit pricey but in this case, "You get what you pay for." When I purchased my first flat iron I bought a fairly cheap one that was about 2 inches wide. I didn't like it very much and it seemed to pull my hair. After speaking with my stylist she explained that I needed a much higher quality iron to do the job. It was only after my hair started breaking off, looking dull and frizzy that I finally took her advice. I knew I was going to have to spend at least one hundred dollars for a good iron and ended up with the Chi. I decided to buy the basic one inch instead of the larger one and I'm glad I did. The very FIRST time I used it, I fell in love with it. WOW what a difference! My hair is smooth, silky and very manageable!

My daughter asked for a flat iron for Christmas and so I researched several, asked my hairdresser and others for opinions and settled on the Chi. I wondered why it was $100-why not just use straightening products? She has been using the product for about three months (only twice a week-more often is bad for your hair) and the results are amazing because not only does the flat iron straighten, it some how manages to create the smoothest, most beautiful finish on your hair. It is wonderful for special occasions.

I have also used it. On humid days, when my hair can look really bad, it is a small miracle. It not only straightens, but it stays straight throughout the day.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on several "cheap" non-salon hair straighteners, straightening products, special blow dryers, and hair-cuts to achieve beautiful straight hair. After receiving my last hair cut at a top-notch salon, I was unable to fix my hair as well as my stylist-and all she did was run a professional straightener through my hair. At this point, I was fed up with paying for stylish haircuts and not being able to utilize my new style. I have been using my Solia iron since early 2002. It is as hot now as it was the day I got it. My hair is extremely thick and I can straighten it in under 10 miinutes. The best thing about this Solia (1 and a quater inch width) is that you can get all the way to your roots to get them straight. The larger one don't let you get this close. Highly recommended.

"I had someone test this straightener on my hair before buying one myself. I've tried expensive straighteners, I've tried $30 straighteners - they all pretty much straighten my hair, but some curl ALWAYS creeps back in. I go over it with an iron, then with a blowdryer to try and get the last kinks out, but it never works. Oh, and forget straightening during the spring, summer and whenever the humidity rises above 30%.

Well, after my sister used the Maxiglide on me, it was almost TOO straight. You know how you see some people with straight hair but you can still tell they're naturally curly?
