i have really unmanageable hair, It takes me everyday to straighten my hair, it made me crazy a lot, i can't go out coz i don't like my hair anymore, even i need to straighten it evryday,, its really pain,,i too want to get it chamical straightened, but as my hair is very thin,,so should i do it, or not,, plz Help me,, Thanks,

ok im 13years old and i used to have pin straight hair before i got my hair permed when i was 10 and it has grow out but theres still waves and i get up every morning and i blow dry and straighen it and im so tired of it if i dnt straighen it i look like George Washington no joke and i dnt have to time and i so got high lights and i have bleached my hair more than 3 times and im scared im going to ruin my hair cuz i want to grow my hair out but i cant cuz it gets frizzy at the ends and i to cut it... is it safe for mi?????

Hi when I was younger i used to have really nice curly hair, but then i decided to straighten it for a change, i've straighened it quite alot now. It does look nice straightened but i don't like doing it because i know its damaging my hair. Now its frizzy underneath and its like straight on the top but it's really puffy. I hate it and my mum is always telling me how i ruined my hair by straightening it. So does anyone know how i can get my curls back?

Hey I'm 16 and I have uncontrolable hair. It's frizzy, puffy, curly, and all of the above. It takes me forever to straighten my hair and it's a pain. Even when i straighten it though it ends up being wavy and curly again. I usually just put my hair in a bun and I am sick of doing that I want change to my hair. So. My hair, is about the size of those overgrown shrub creatures. It's huge, and unmanagable. Everyday I have to attempt to contain it in a bun, and I hate it.It takes two hours to straighten it, and it doesnt even work super well. I, need, change. How much is it gonna cost me and how will it affect my hair if I do this?? I am seriously considering it, I'm at a point where I'll do anything.

Hey, i probably have the most unmanageable hair here, it takes me about 5 hours to straighten it all with a $100 flat iron. My hairtype is thick and coarse. its not curly just incredebly wavy and THICK THICK THICK. i got it chemically straightened and its absolutely amazing. 5 hours of straightening is now 40 mintues which is a huge improvement. however, after i got it done it was somewhat damaged. i recomend using a thick conditioner and a hot oil treatment, after that it was healthy and shiny. all in all i say its worth it.

I have a question about permanent hair straightening. My hair is SUPER PUFFY, really.. I cant even let it dry, or else I'll look like I belong in the "Lion King" movie. Anyways, has anyone ever had permanent hair straightening done in "Fantastic Sams"?.. Im thinking of trying it, and Im thinking of that place. Any comments?...

My advice is to NOT get permanent straightening! I used to have curly hair, I thought it was terrible but the straightening has made it worse! It has taken ages to grow out its now crazy at the back, dry and boofy in top! Dont do it! Seriously. Unless your hair is already straight, but if your hair is curly just use moisteurising (dont know how to spell that word) treatments and work with what youve got :)

I have dry, frizzy hair and on the advice of my 22 year old daughter went to her hair dresser and had my hair professionally straightened. Smart. I will tell you it depends on how fast your hair grows and mine grows fast. I get it done however twice a year because I do not want it to fry. I recommend it only by a professional. Do it.

Hi. My hair is a total mess and i cannot take it anymore. I am done with people describing me as the chick with the frizzy hair and i want to get it chemically straightened but my mom thinks it is bad for my hair. Is it dangerous for my hair? My hair is really dry to begin with so will this dry it out any more?
